Work
Concept projects
Three fictional small businesses, designed and built to show what a Pickle Samurai site can do: motion that guides the eye, layouts that work on a phone, and clear ways to order or book. These are demonstrations of design and functionality, not paid-client case studies or measured sales results. No real clients, orders, or messages are involved.
Ember & Wheel
A fictional restaurant and food-truck concept designed to make ordering easier. A truck drives down the page as you scroll, the menu filters by category with a working cart demo, and the weekly schedule highlights today.
Design goal: Help a visitor move from discovering the food truck to choosing a menu item. What to try: Filter the menu, add an item to the demo cart, and check the weekly schedule.
Sharpline
A fictional barbershop site with an animated barber pole, a snip-reveal intro, a service price list, and a booking picker demo that shows open and taken times.
Design goal: Make services, prices, and the booking step easy to understand. What to try: Review the service list and explore the booking picker.
Fresh Stripe
A fictional lawn care company with a mowing-stripe hero, an instant quote estimator, a before and after slider, and a ZIP code checker that shows your weekly service day.
Design goal: Help a homeowner explore a service before requesting a quote. What to try: Adjust the estimate, compare the example images, and check the demo service day.
These are demonstrations. Names, prices, and schedules are made up. Click “Try it live” on a desktop to scroll inside a frame, or open the full site in a new tab.
