Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of picklesamurai.com (the "Site"), operated by Pickle Samurai LLC ("Pickle Samurai", "we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site is
The Site describes our web design, website security, and web3 services and shares educational information. Booking a free consultation starts a conversation by email. It does not create a paid engagement.
Purchases, refunds and care plans
Paid services are described on our Checkout page or in a written proposal, and the terms below apply. Nothing on the Site is a binding offer until we confirm your order by email.
Payment. Packages on the Checkout page are one-time prices for the scope shown there (pages, revision rounds and timeline). Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Work begins when payment is received and we have what we need from you, such as text, images and logins.
Refunds. Before work starts you can cancel for a full refund. After work has started, we keep the part of the price that matches work already done and refund the rest. After launch, payments are not refundable, but we will fix defects against the agreed scope at no charge for 30 days. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law.
Monthly care plans. Care plans are shown at checkout with their price. Billing starts 30 days after checkout. Each plan has a 6-month minimum, then renews month to month at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel any time after the minimum by emailing support@picklesamurai.com, and cancellation stops the next charge. We confirm the plan, price and these terms by email before the first charge, and we give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
Ownership. Once you have paid in full, you own the finished website content and design delivered to you. We keep our own tools, templates and code libraries and license them to you as part of your site. We may show the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Educational information only
Content on the Site, including anything about web3, wallets, and online safety, is general educational information. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. No review, article, or recommendation can guarantee that a website, wallet, transaction, or account will be safe. Threats and conditions change, and you remain responsible for your own decisions and accounts.
No guarantees
We work carefully, but we do not promise particular results, such as search ranking, traffic, revenue, or that a site can never be attacked. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available".
Concept projects
Projects labeled "Concept project" are design demonstrations for fictional businesses. They are not real clients or real businesses.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, scrape it in a way that harms it, or use it to break the law or others' rights.
Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, artwork, and the Pickle Samurai name, logo, and mascot belong to Pickle Samurai LLC or its licensors. You may view the Site for personal use and share links to it. Please ask us before copying or reusing our content or artwork.
Links to other sites
The Site links to third-party sites and platforms (for example YouTube, TikTok, X, and Discord). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pickle Samurai LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
